Poplar Woodturning Blanks!

Poplar woodturning blanks are most often a light yellowish-white color, with frequent light green colors present in the heartwood. This wood may show a rainbow of fine colors due to spalting. Poplar is a great turning wood. It is extremely stable and dries easily. This wood sands very well to a medium high sheen. It is a very popular choice among carvers and dough bowl makers.
